Mrs. Anita Kimbrell Vance, age 68, of Guin passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in the Northwest Medical Center. Mrs. Vance was born in Winfield, Alabama on August 29. 1955 to J.C. and Daisy Dickinson Kimbrell. She was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church and a 1973 graduate of Winfield City High School. Anita spent much of her life as a homemaker, caring for her family. In her spare time Anita enjoyed singing and was always quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Mrs. Vance is survived by her son, Jeremy Vance (Cindy), grandson, Brady Vance, brother, Randy Kimbrell, sister, Linda Reese (Sammy), sisters-in-law, Debbie Reese (Don), and Mechelle Vance, nieces and nephews, Greg and Chris Black, Cory and Zach Vance, Jennifer Duke, Burt and Vicky Reese, Missy Lovett, Angie Wilkerson and Daniel Benton, and a host of aunts, uncles, and other family members.

Mrs. Vance was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Vance, her parents, sister, Kathy Kimbrell, and a brother-in-law, Jeff Vance.

Funeral services for Mrs. Vance will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Wates-Dickinson Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
