Mr. Louie Jerome Eads, age 75 of Winfield passed away Firday, October 18, 2019 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.  Louie was a 1963 graduate of Carbon Hill High School, a member of the Winfield Church of Christ, and retired from 3M company after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis B. Eads and Letha Farris Eads, a son, Christopher Todd Eads, sisters, Nadene Eads, Evelyn Ingle, Mildred Ferster, and Mary Lois Nicolas, brothers, Lloyd Eads, Bobby Eads, and Ray Eads.  Mr. Eads is survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris Spann Eads, a son, Trent Eads, grandchildren, Monica Johnson, Morgan York, and Hope Meherg, great grandchildren, Zander York, Preston Johnson, Aaron Meherg, Zeplin York, Avery Meherg, Aubriella Johnson, and Zara Mae York, a sister, Kathy Ingle, and a special friend Dean Johnson.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019 at the Winfield Church of Christ with Burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win.  The visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
