Tristan Javin Hosch age 39, of Winfield passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at his residence. Javin was born on August 11, 1982 to Earnest and Tonie Trimm Hosch. He enjoyed the outdoors and liked spending his spare time hunting, fishing, and watching his nephew play baseball. Javin enjoyed spending time with his pets, family and friends, his greatest love in life was his mother.

Javin is survived by his wife, Sunday Hosch, son, Tate Lawrence and his wife Haley, daughter, Laiken Hosch ,stepdaughters, Lisa Michelle Kerley and her husband Dax, and Marianne Walker and her husband Phil, mother, Tonie Dodd, brother, Jason Hosch and his wife Shandell, sister, Christie Duckworth and her husband Robert, nieces, Donya Rogers and her husband Steve, Haley Hosch, Dayla Mestizo, and Deejah Lockhart, nephew, Jarett Hosch, aunts, Ann Robins and her husband Jim, and Wanda Guin and her husband Wesley, his beloved pets, Bully, Caleb, Tula, Turbo, Josh, Missy, Best Friend -Trouble, Tara, and Bucky the cat, and a host of other family members and friends.

Javin was preceded in death by his father, Earnest “Ernie” Hosch, stepfather, Donnie Dodd, grandparents, Milford and Ruth Trimm and Estelle and Cliff Hosch, aunts, Ruth Fields, and Imojean Roberts and two dogs, Mudgie and Toby.

Funeral services for Javin will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00p.m. until 2:00p.m. service time at the funeral home.

Martha Sue Jordan age 75 of Guin passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Alabama. A private memorial service will be held at a later time.

Mr. James Ray “Pap” Tucker age 83, of Winfield passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, in the Walker Rehabilitation Center in Carbon Hill. Mr. Tucker was born on August 4, 1938 to Johnny Washington and Floy Westbrooks Tucker in Winfield, Alabama. Mr. Tucker was a member of the Rock City Church of God and spent most of his life working in the Coal Industry as a loader operator for above ground mines in and around Rock City.

Mr. Tucker is survived by his sons, Jeffery “Bear” Tucker and his wife Missy, Keith Tucker and his wife Barbara, Michael Tucker and his wife Michelle, daughter, Teresa Smith and her husband Casey, grandchildren, Hudson Tucker and his wife Alyce, Jake Tucker, Leann Benford and her husband Kolby, Dustin Tucker and his wife Julie, Garret Tucker and his wife Jade, Landon Tucker, Kelsey Hill Jones, Matthew Smith and his wife Lana, and Kayla Smith Williams, great-grandchildren, John, Caden, Chaselyn, Rylan, Kyrian, and Clayton Tucker, Korbyn, and Charley Smith, Ella Vintson, Aubrey Williams, and Amelia Moran.

In addition to his parents Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Grace Tucker, and grandson, Josh Hill.

Funeral services for Mr. Tucker will be held on Wednesday, July13, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Griggs Place Cemetery. The visitation for Mr. Tucker will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Crystal Renee Sandlin age 55 of Winfield, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at her residence after a hard battle with cancer. Crystal was born on August 1, 1966 to John and Barbara Horner. She attended Bevill State Community College where she earned her associate degree, and later went on to the University of North Alabama, “UNA” where she received her degree in accounting. Crystal was a hard worker that loved her family. She was very proud of her father, sons, grandson and other family members that served and are serving in the United States Armed Forces.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bobby D. Sandlin of Winfield, children, Scott Feezell of Winfield, Brandie Westbrook her husband Justin of Winfield and Stephen Horner his wife Ashton of Guin, her grandchildren, Landon, Loghan, Kacen, Avery and Kelly on the way, parents, John and Barbara Horner of Haleyville, sisters, Lynn Hovey and husband David of TN, Tracye Harrison and her husband Danny of Haleyville and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Crystal is now reunited in Heaven with her grandson, Christian and her grandparents.                                                             

A memorial service for Crystal will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
