Mrs. Jacqualyn Diane Hickman, better known as Jackie, age 71, of Guin passed away, Friday August 17, 2018 in the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Hickman was a graduate of Big Springs High School in Big Springs, TX, she was employed in Elementary Education for over 20 years with Hillsborough County Public Schools. Mrs. Hickman was a volunteer with the Northwest Alabama Arts Council, the Jerry Brown Arts Festival, the Salvation Army as a bell-ringer for over 50 years, as well as many other civic and volunteer organizations. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Vivian Poole, and her brothers, Richard and Gary Poole. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Otis Hickman of Guin, her daughter, Heidi Marie Hickman of Tampa, FL, sisters, Cathy Frantz (Frank) of Kentucky and Sandra Bair (Larry) of Maryland, sisters in law, Anita Poole of Texas and Patty Poole of Maryland and her loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her extended Hickman family. Funeral services for Mrs. Hickman will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. (service time) Wednesday at the funeral home. Dr. Kenny Hatcher will be the officiating minister. Mrs. Carolyn Sue Wilson, age 66, of the Pea Ridge community, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 in the Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory, MS. Mrs. Wilson was a 1970 graduate of Winfield City High School, and worked as store manager for the Sears / JC Penney Catalog Store in Hamilton for over 20 years until the store closure. Carolyn is survived by her children, Hope Wilson Smith of Winfield, Patrick Wilson (LaWanda) of the Pea Ridge community, Dawn Seaton (Todd) of Madison, AL, two granddaughters, Sayde Smith and Emma Rose Wilson, sister, Peggy Reese (W.C.) of Guin, nephew, Josh Reese and her great niece, Abbey Reese. She is preceded in death by her husband, Talmage Wilson and her parents, Eugene Tucker and Cora Lee Robertson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in the Center United Methodist Cemetery. Ella Faye Dill Crumbie, age 65, of Guin, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018, in the DCH Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Ms. Crumbie was preceded in death by her husbands, Steven Douglas Moseley and Robert Lee Crumbie, her parents, James Lock Dill and Dorthey Lee Harp Dill, brother, Joe Dill, niece, Starla Dill, and a nephew, Jimmy Lee Dill. She is survived by her children, Christine Box (Kevin Wayne Box), James Robert Crumbie (Melissa Crumbie), and John Thomas Moseley, her grandchildren, Samantha Faye Mitchell, Amanda Jane Mitchell, Brittney Leigh Box, Kandie Nichole Crumbie, brothers, James O’Neal Dill and Billy Ralph Dill, nieces, Sonia Hicks and Brittney Nichole Wilson, nephews, Ryan Hicks and Brandon Dill and a great niece, Abbi Grace Dill. Ms. Lillie Jean Benton, age 86, of Winfield, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 in the Diversicare Healthcare Center in Winfield. Ms. Benton was born in Gadsden, Alabama on October 4, 1931. She was a member of The Church of The Shepherd’s Field. She enjoyed growing flowers and spending time with her friends, family and her grand dog, Scooter. Ms. Benton was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene B. Boley and Martha L. Wade Boley, a granddaughter, Amanda Box, a great granddaughter, Elise Simpson, and a son in law, Ray “Jaybird” Westbrooks. She is survived by her daughters, Anita Westbrooks of Northport, Rachael East of Charlotte, NC, Gloria Nix (Derian) of Bessemer, and Beth Benton (Todd Patterson) of Winfield, her grandchildren, Mike Westbrooks (Sandra) of South Carolina, Gina Simpson (Mark) of Tuscaloosa, Brittney McAllister of Tuscaloosa, Jason Box, Craig Box, and Erin Lee (Chad), all of Hamilton, two other special grandchildren, great grandchildren, Dayson, Haley, Abby, Della, Mary, Elle, Luke, Michael, Jayden, Reid, and Jude, 7 great great grandchildren, her sister, Martha Tyler, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on, Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Goodwater Cemetery.
