Mr. Harry Ray Stricklin, age 85, of Guin passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Stricklin was born in Brilliant, Alabama on May 25, 1938 to Fred and Linnie Elliott Stricklin. Mr. Stricklin was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church and a graduate of Brilliant High School. He was employed with 3M Company in Guin for 37 years. Harry enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and working with his tractor. His favorite tv station was CMT and he would have every tv in the house always blaring. Harry’s greatest love was his family and his grandchildren.

Mr. Stricklin is survived by his sons, Glenn Stricklin, Craig Stricklin (Angie), Phillip Stricklin (Teresa) and David Stricklin (Tori), grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Alyson, Kolby, Chaselyn, Tyler, Parker, Jonathen and Zack Stricklin, a sister, Barbie Bryant (Thomas) and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Theron Stricklin, his parents, and brothers, Eddie and Wilburn Stricklin.

Funeral services for Mr. Stricklin were held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chaple with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. The visitation was held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Brother Eddie Ayers was the officiating minister and serving as pallbearers were Kolby Stricklin, Tyler Stricklin, Parker Stricklin, David Stricklin, Justin Stricklin and Delane Stricklin.
