Mr. Gary Wayne “Tuffy” Morrison, age 60 of Winfield. Passed away at the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield on June 1, 2018. Mr. Morrison was born October 8, 1957 to Archie Lee and Barbara Jean Bozeman Morrison. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Pam Morrison Pate and his father in law, Hollie Warren, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Diane Warren Morrison of Winfield, daughters, Reshonda “Paige” McCraw of Glen Allen and Miranda Yaden (Jonathan) of Brilliant, grandchildren, Natalie McCraw, Savanna McCraw, Laney Yaden and Van Yaden, sisters, Debbie Guyton (Edward) of Sulligent, Cindy Henson (Scotty) of Guin and his mother in law, Emma Dean Warren of Winfield and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Morrison will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Griggs Place Cemetery. Mr. Rex Edward Porter, age 89, of Winfield passed away Wednesday May 30, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Porter is survived by his children, Sandra G. Porter of Atlanta, GA, Edward R. Porter (Karen) of Atlanta, GA and Charles B. Porter of Winfield, grandchildren, Starla Porter, Paige Porter, Tracy Porter, Tiffany Willis, Austin Porter, Tara Porter, Kayla Porter, Heather Smith and Krushinda Brannon, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, Anita Jones and Amber M. Jones, cousin, Joyce Clanton. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Porter, parents, Gillie and Geneva Bly Porter, and his sisters, Willie Gray Beasley and Norma Faye Wheeler. Funeral services for Rex will be held on Saturday June 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Mr. Leburn Cogar “Lee” Franks, age 79, of Smyrna, TN formerly of Lynn, AL, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN.  Mr. Franks was retired from John Deere Manufacturing Co. in Moline, IL. He is survived by his daughter, Jeannette Raburn (Ken) of Haleyville, AL, step son, Jimmy Green (Janice) of Smyrna, TN, step daughter, Barbara Green Cameron (Jerry) of Moulton, AL, grandchildren, Brittni Moody and Matthew Raburn, great grandchildren, Maddie Moody and Bane Raburn, 4 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, sisters, Willadean Palmer of Guin, AL, Maylene Harlan (Kenneth) of Winfield, AL, brothers, Roland Franks (Bertha) Franks of Mayville, TN, Floyd Franks (Beverly) of Moline, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Rilocalestie “Callie” Phillips Franks, wife, Earline Tittle Franks, brothers, Clifton and Clay Franks, stepson, Jerry Wayne Green and step granddaughter, Teresa Draper. Mr. Arthur Lawrence Finch, age 88, of Winfield passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Finch was a truck driver and worked for McCluskey Lumber for many years. He was a faithful member of Eastside Baptist Church. Mr. Finch is preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Lillian Clinton Finch, wife, Willie Lou Finch, and a brother, Joe Finch. He is survived by his children, Janet Hindman (Hank) of Fayette, Joyce Butler (Butch) of Winfield, Lori Marshall (Clint) of Winfield, Wayne (Lisa) Finch, Ronnie (Vicky) Finch and Tim (Jimmie Sue) Finch all of Winfield, grandchildren, Tony, Jason and Cody Finch, Tessa Patton, Tara Galloway, Ron Stokes, Stephanie Slaughenhoup, Megan Bolton, Amanda Finch, Ashley Sprinkle, Tyler Marshall, Tanner Marshall, and Andrea Cantrell, 15 great grandchildren, and a brother, Elmer Finch. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastside Baptist Church with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win.
