Mrs. Virginia Tawanna Tucker, age 72 of the Hubbertville community passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at her son’s residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Fayette County, Alabama on February 21, 1949 to Buck and Ruby Reed Tucker. Virginia was a member of the Berea Church of Christ and attended Hubbertville High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Ruby Tucker, her husband of 46 years, Dewey Tucker, a brother, Dennis Tucker, and a great granddaughter, Emma Grace Tucker. She is survived by her three sons, Eddy (Nikki) Tucker of Brilliant, Danny (Ashley) of Jasper, and Webster (Candice) Tucker of Cordova, grandchildren, Kaiti (Scott) Akers, Makenzie (Zev) Finch, Jerry (Kimberly) Tucker, Andrew (Kourtney) Tucker, Austin (Seirra) Tucker, Abby Tucker, Blake Tucker, Dalton Tucker, Cassidi Davidson, Makenzi South and her greatgrandchildren, Braden, Brody and Bryleigh Tucker , Adam and Lilly Vice, Bentley Akers, Jaymee Posey, Heidi, Charlotte and Sophia Tucker, a sister, Ramona Roby Tucker, and brother, Wayne Tucker and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Berea Church of Christ Cemetery. Brother Jerry Key and Brother Tony German will be the officiating ministers. The visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Margiore Ann McNeely Hamric, age 83 of Winfield, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 in the Diversicare Healthcare Facility in Winfield.  Mrs. Hamric was born in Logan, WV on March 7, 1938 to William and Virginia Milan McNeely.  Margiore was a member of the Winfield Church of Christ.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Gerald Hamric, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.  Mrs. Hamric is survived by her husband of 63 years R.L. Hamric, her daughter, Shelly Hamric Bostick (Chet), her son, Greg (Amelia) Hamric, her grandchildren, Blake (Jade) Bostick, Josh (Whitney) Bostick, Trey (Holly) Bostick, Jason (Shannon) South, Stephen (Marie) South, Brian (Kristi) South, and Ava Hamric, great grandchildren, Crawford, Ivie, Tilly, Sadie, Rhett, Hazel, Piper, Wrenley, Conner, Caleb, Hudson, Holden, Sawyer, Blake, Chandler, Emma Grace, and Easton, daughter- in- law, Alicia Hamric . Funeral services for Mrs. Hamric will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery near Brilliant.  The visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. (service time) on Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Frankie Jayson Flippo, age 59 of Winfield passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 in the Diversicare Health Care Center in Winfield.
Frankie was born in Winfield, AL on January 9, 1962 to George and Louise Flippo. Mr. Flippo was preceded in death by his father, George Robert Flippo, sister, Wanda Kay Flippo, and a brother, George Robert “Bob” Flippo, III. He is survived by his mother, Louise Hall Flippo, daughters, Holly Flippo and Star Flippo, sisters, Carrie Ann Flippo Tucker and Marilyn Loretta Flippo Johnson and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Center Cemetery near Twin. Brother Jerry Norris will officiate. Bowen Funeral Home serving the Flippo family.

Mr. Greagory Monroe Bourland, age 53 of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Greg was born to Willie, Sr. and Mary Frances Bourland on April 5, 1967. He attended A New Hope Church and enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, dirt track racing and Alabama Football.

Mr. Bourland is survived by his wife, Marie Lucas Bourland, his daughter, Shay Bourland, son, Zack Bourland (Kayla), his grandchildren, Tori Nichole Bourland, Kaleb Earon Livengood, Zackery Lane Bourland, India Renea Livengood, Madalyn Brooke Hollis and Luke Bradley Bourland, two brothers, Willie Bourland, Jr (Mary) and Gary Bourland (Peggy Sue) and a host nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Bourland, Sr. and Mary Frances Kennedy Bourland, a sister, Nancy Darlene Tucker, nephew, Justin Tucker and a sister-in-law, Amanda Lee Walker.

Funeral services for Mr. Bourland will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Goldmine Cemetery near Brilliant. Brother Mike Edwards will be the officiating minister. The visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home.
