Mrs. Peggy Faye Stiles, age 74 of Winfield formerly of Birmingham, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at her residence. 

Peggy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tommy Stiles, her daughters, Marisa Stiles and Miranda Stiles, a granddaughter, Marley Bennett, brother in law, Jim Burch and her niece, Sara Reagan and a host of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Mack Murphree and Mary Lou Petty Murphree, and two sisters, June Burch and Jean Knight.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stiles will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery.  Pastor John Loper will be the officiating minister.  The visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home.  Bowen Funeral Home serving the Stiles family.

Mrs. Sue Tittle Avent, age 72 of Winfield formerly of Fayette County, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at her residence. Sue was a member of Inner Change Church of Winfield and was employed with Dr. Garry Magouirk as Medical Office Manager in Fayette for many years.

Sue is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Tommy Avent, her children, Judy Cooper (Brad) of Nashville, TN, Crystal Hofius (Jason) of Tuscaloosa, Jason Dunn (Ashli) of Columbus, MS and Jason Avent of Sylvester, GA, fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, two brothers, Tim Tittle of Mobile, Terry Tittle (Glenda) of Northport and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mickey Cummings Tittle, brother, Paul Tittle, Jr., sisters, Donna Nelson and Sunny Pierre.

The funeral service for Sue will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. Grant Webb and Brett Burleson will be the officiating ministers. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. (service time) at the funeral home. Christy Gail Bridgmon, age 37 of Birmingham, formerly of Winfield passed away in Birmingham. Christy was preceded in death by her parents, Gary Bridgmon and Anita Strickland Bridgmon and a brother, Gary Stone. She is survived by her children, Jordan, Madison, Christian and Caleb, sister, Tammy Ray (David), brothers, Dallas Bridgmon, Joseph Townsend, and Jeremy Bridgmon (Crystal), life partner, Tonya Calloway, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Christy will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the Kelley Cemetery in Eldridge. Brother TJ Armstrong will officiate. Bowen Funeral Home serving the Bridgmon family.

Mr. Jerry Lane Leeth, better known as Lane, age 59 of Winfield formerly of Alabaster, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at his residence. Lane was born on December 8, 1960 to Rev. Jerry Madison Leeth and Gloria Portwood Leeth. He was a member of the Winfield Church of God, a devoted husband and father. Lane was a 1979 graduate of Sardis High School and earned his electronics degree from Herzing Institute in Birmingham. Lane was employed with the Baptist Health System in Birmingham for 23 years as a Systems Analyst.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Dawn Webb Leeth, son, Davey Leeth (Morgan) of Madison, daughter, DaLaney Leeth of Winfield, a brother, Vann Leeth (Sandy) of Pell City, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Lane was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Jerry and Gloria Leeth.

The funeral service for Mr. Leeth will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Garden Cemetery in Gu-Win. Grant Webb and Brett Burleson will service as officiating ministers. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
