Mr. Elise Daniel Parish better known as Daniel, age 74 of Winfield, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 in the Diversicare Health Care Facility in Winfield. Daniel was born on May 5, 1946 in Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gail Parish, mother, Waldene Parish and his father, Zollie Chain. Mr. Parish is survived by his daughter, Kathy Rose (Jim) of Laurel, MS, sons, Matthew Parish (Samantha) of Winfield, Danny Ray Parish of Hamilton and Johnny Wayne Smith of Ellisville, MS, sisters, Judy Ann Roberts (Freddy) of Saucier, MS, Lillie Grace Jasper (Ralph) of South Carolina, brothers, David Parish (Cindy) of Brandon, MS, Billy Parish of Biloxi, MS, Paul Parish (Wanda) of Oklahoma, Cecil Parish (Martha) of Winfield and Randall Parish (Rachel) of Winfield, thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Mr. Parish will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Garden Cemetery in Gu-Win. Randell Parish, Matthew Parish and Freddy Roberts will officiate. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Alisha Gaye Tillery, age 55 of Winfield passed away on May 13, 2020. Alisha was a 1983 graduate of Hackleburg High School. Alisha went on to earn her degree as a respiratory therapist and was employed with Alabama Children’s Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe D. Tillery and a brother Erik Tillery. She is survived by her mother, Gaye Tillery of Athens, her children, Michael Davis of Hackleburg, Tyler Cantrell of Winfield, and Alex Langley of Winfield, grandchildren, Reagan and River Davis, her siblings, Darren Tillery of Cullman and Haley Davis of Athens, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Donna Kaye Henderson, age 45 of Guin, Formerly of the Hubbertville community passed away at her residence in Guin. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Tommy Courington and Teazy Dean Meadows Courington, a sister, Judith Darlene “Sissy” Tidwell, and a brother,Tommy Ray Courington.   She is survived by her husband, Tim Henderson of Winfield, a daughter, Brooklyn Dozier of Winfield, a son, James Austin Henderson (Madison Vaughn) of Winfield, grandchildren, Daxton Wade Henderson and Everly Caroline Henderson, two sisters, Geraldine Yocum of Winfield and Diane Marcy of Peoria, IL, a brother, George Elton Courington of Berry, and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Donna will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2020 from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. (service time) on Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Elizabeth Dale Jones, Better known as “Betha”, age 83 of Winfield passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Betha was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, she was employed with Betton Manufacturing in Fayette after her many years of service in the lunchroom at Hubbertville School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Owen Miles and Cora Stokes Miles, her husband, James Franklin Jones, sisters, Juanita Sullivan, Jane Hubbert, Sue Atkinson, Katherine Atkinson, Rebecca Cook, Willodean Miles, and Jimmie Lou Sullivan, her brothers, Bryce Miles, Gary Miles, Kenneth Miles and Leland Miles. She is survived by a sister, JoAnn Weeks of Dora, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May, 15, from the Guin First Baptist Church with burial to Follow in the Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Zane Miles and Brother Venlon Bradford will officiate. The visitation will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. (service time) on Friday at the church.
