Mr. James Randolph Wakefield, better known as “Randy”, age 80 of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Diversicare Healthcare Center in Winfield. Randy was a 1957 Graduate of Hubbertville High School, and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, John G. Wakefield and Margaree Tucker Wakefield, and his mother in law, Jimmie Lou Webster Marcum. Randy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Wanda Webster Wakefield, sons, Todd (Cindy) Wakefield of Baton Rouge, LA, and Brett (Kim) Wakefield of Winfield, grandchildren, Jace Wakefield, Kendall Wakefield, and Keller Smith, a sister, Marja Fowler of Winfield, brothers, Pollard (Patricia) Wakefield of Hubbertville and Ricky (Jan) Wakefield of Winfield, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relative and friends. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday from the Berea Church of Christ Cemetery. Scott Webster and James Wyers Will officiate. Mrs. Angie L. Jones Camp, age 45 of Winfield, passed away on Friday, May 8th 2020. Angie was a 1992 graduate of Brilliant High School.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James Q. Jones and Annette Willcutt Jones, a brother Anthony Dewayne Hester, and a step son, Teddy Camp Jr.  She is survived by her husband, Teddy D. Camp Sr., her son, Collin Gilbert of Winfield, her daughter, Brianna Hubbert of Winfield, a sister, Theresa Michelle Hester Benson, of Enville, TN, a brother, Brian Jones of Brilliant, and a step daughter, April Celeste Camp.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May, 12, from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery. Mr. Erbie T Frazier Jr., better known as “Buddy”, age 75 of Brilliant, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at his residence. Buddy was a 1963 graduate of Haleyville High School and a member of Brock Church of Christ. Mr. Frazier was retired from Drummond Coal Company, a partner and owner/operator of Frazier Splicing Inc. and High Stakes Cattle Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erbie T. Frazier and Ila Berry Frazier, and a sister, Linda Frazier Tidwell. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Rawls Frazier, children, Allan (Rebecca) Frazier, Bryan (Karen) Frazier, Lana (Craig) Donaldson, all of Brilliant, and Chet (Cristy) Frazier, of Whitehouse, TN, grandchildren, Bridgette (Larry) Ware, Amber (Justin) Edwards, Brad (Kayla) Frazier, Josh (Tasha) Frazier, Brooke (Dylan) Self, Kyle (Lexie) Donaldson, Dustin (Crystal) Donaldson, Kayla (Ryan) Duvall, Savanna Frazier and Peyton Frazier, great grandchildren, Lael Ware, Zetta Edwards, Kalee Frazier, Jhett Frazier, Brady Frazier, Ellis Donaldson, Kaitlyn Wyninger, Brody Wyninger, Grayer Donaldson, and Layla Sartin, a sister, Barbara Hasting (Larry) of Haleyville, two half-brothers, Randy and Keith Frazier of Jasper, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. An “open air” funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11th from the Brock Church Christ with burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery Near Brilliant. Mr. Terry Gray Parten, age 65, a resident of Saraland, Alabama for 36 years passed a way on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Terry was born on July 27, 1954 in Butler, Alabama to Minnie Merl Huckabee and Julian Gray Parten.

Terry was a well-respected and dedicated Maritime Captain for nearly 47 years, and he truly loved his profession. He was affectionately known as “Captain T” on the river. Over the course of his career, he took tremendous pride in mentoring many young deckhands and pilots that crossed his path. His legacy will live on through his Maritime family. He loved his Heavenly Father, his wife, his girls, and his grandchildren.

Terry was a one-of-a-kind man, a loyal husband, an exceptional father, and a dependable friend. He was a selfless man, always considering the needs of others. His hobbies were fishing, carpentry, grilling on his Kamado Joe, and watching Alabama football. Terry lived his life for his family, and he will be missed beyond measure.

Terry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cindy Mayfield Parten, formerly of Winfield, Alabama and his daughters Haleigh Parten Tapscott (Andrew) and Katlin Parten English (Lee), grandchildren, Houston and Hadley Tapscott, and expecting granddaughter Palmer Leigh English in September of 2020, sisters Julia Tyson, and Mary Goodman Norman, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and a host of other family and close friends.

A graveside service for Mr. Terry Parten will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, in Saraland, AL. Pastor Roy Hill will be the officiating minister.
