Mr. James Bearden, better known as J.D., age 81 of Brilliant, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at his residence.

J.D. was born on December 21, 1939 in Madisonville, Kentucky to Davis and Sarah Bearden, and was owner/operator of B & B Welding for over 30 years. Mr. Bearden enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. He was a family man that was full of love and joy to everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen Marie Williams Bearden, children, Guyla Perry of Pell City, Joey Barnett of Brilliant, Vickie Shirriff (Kenny) of Northport, Sandy Couch (Tim) of Winfield, Greg Bearden (Becky) of Brilliant and Tony Bearden (Debbie) of Madisonville , KY, grandchildren, Kyle Jack (Jamie), Monique Jack, Trace Barnett, Trent Goodwin (Katie), Bradley Hallman, Brian Couch, Rhonda Wilkerson, Christy Hutchins (David), Kathy Hurt (Jonathon), and a host of great grandchildren, sister, Dorothy Rickards of Madisonville, KY, and a brother, Calvin Bearden of Madisonville, KY, close friends, Kevin and Cindy Holcomb, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. J.D. was preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Sarah Bearden and brothers, Thomas and Junior Bearden.

A graveside service for J.D. will be held on Sunday, January, 31, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Brilliant Memorial Gardens. Brother David Sexton will be the officiating minister.

Mrs. Thomasine Clark, age 97 of Winfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in the Sunset Manor Health Care Facility.   Mrs. Clark is survived by her daughter, Linda McCluskey (Max) of Niceville , FL.  She was preceded in death by, her husband, Webster Clark , granddaughter, Misty Fowler and her parents, Thomas and Jettie Workman.   A private burial for Mrs. Clark will be held from the West Alabama Memorial Gardens.  Bowen Funeral Home serving the Clark family.

David Lane Woodley, age 9, of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
Lane was a member of the Winfield First Baptist Church and a 3rd grade student at Winfield City Elementary School, Class of 2030. Lane was a ray of sunshine, lighting up every room he entered. He loved football, baseball, basketball, the Alabama Crimson Tide, country music, pickup trucks, the WWE, cowboy boots, Fortnite, the NBA and NFL, PlayStation games, playing with his friends, and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his parents, David and Kallie Woodley, grandparents, Dwain and Linda Woodley, James and Jessica Garner, half-sister, Jessica Grace and her children, Justus and Jorgia, aunts and uncles, Emily and Rodney Tittle, Kimberly and Sparky Cowart, Trisha Woodley, cousins, Nic Woodley, Sara Woodley, Emma Kate Tittle, Sarah James and Ella Walker Cowart, special friends, Chris and Tracy Reese, Rivers Kleypas, Asher Posey, Becton Brown, Macon May, Hudson Hollingsworth, Jaxon Seals, Eli Upton, David, Michelle, Loreanna and Luke McKinney, Ben Mullins, Bellarose Smith, and a host of other family, classmates and friends. Lane was preceded in death by his great grandparents, R. L. and Saundria Garner, Gene and Betty Aldridge and an uncle, Rodney Woodley.
Funeral services for Lane will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Winfield First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Griggs Place Cemetery. Dr. Paul Murphy and Dr. Charles Ballew will be the officiating ministers. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. (service time) at the church.
Nic Woodley, Chris Meyers, Brennan Smith, Cody Fox, Greg Anderson, Will Aldridge, Ty Aldridge, Scott Aldridge, Anthony Aldridge and Glenn Grace will serve as active pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Winfield Elementary School 3rd grade class, Tabatha Mays, Robin Butler, Shea Dennis, Angela Wilds, Alesha Dodd, and his Winfield Park and Rec 10 and under basketball team.

Mr. Robert Wayne Webster, better known as Bobby age 64 of Birmingham, formerly of Winfield, passed away at his residence in Birmingham.

Bobby was a 1974 graduate of Winfield City High School and of Northwest Alabama Junior College. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Erma Webster and a brother, Tommy Webster. Bobby is survived by a host of cousins, and other family and friends.
